Everyone:
I have a couple of parts off an SD. I don't want to salvage them. I would rather they go to someone who could use them someday. They are, first, a left front corner marker light assembly complete with lens, thumbwheel tightener, and bulb holder (with bulb). The second is a drivers door outside mirror assembly - fully functional.
If anyone is actually interested I can send pictures.
This is my last attempt to save these parts. But GAWD I hate to throw them away. Seems like only 10 years ago the yards always had one or two of these machines in inventory. Now they are getting harder and harder to find. Like we're coming to the end of an era or something. <snif> I'm glad I have my own parts car for my 300TD. But it's sad to see the numbers dwindling.
Oh well. I'll drive it till something catastrophic happens and then transplant the engine and tranny into a jeep.
