still looking for a working odometer for Syliva (’84 300 SD / 126) - the irony of being in a junkyard is there’s simply no way to know whether it works or not - just have to hope for the best…going to look on eBay…I have been referred to 2 shops in CA - one in Palo Alto and one in LA, best estimate for a rebuild with mileage set to my spec is north of $200…I've tried calling the place that makes the replacement gears a few times, no answer, no call back - can’t tell from their site what parts/pieces I might actually need and they are also very expensive (relatively speaking)….
