Well its at last night in the garage heated up and it started fine this morning. I also got the white bottle and put that in the tank. Oddly the Kroger company was unable to tell me what type of diesel they have saying it is a proprietary interest? |

You dont have jelled fuel unless maybe it's been below 20 degrees for a few days. But when it gets below around 35 degrees diesels can get harder to start. Depending on many things. Best thing to do for a diesel in winter is get a block heater. If you live where it gets into the 30's and below, first line of defense is a 400 W block heater. Put it on a timer to run the hours you will need to start. 30 degree temp. only a couple of hours. -20 all night.
