I'm in Moorpark , Ca. , slightly NW of Los Angeles , we're having a Vintage Car Back Road Rally to - day while everyone else is having fist fights over Korean TV sets @ WallyMart and watching the salespeople starve .
I just filled up , 315 miles , 25.6 MPGs . I'd hoped my newly rebuilt tranny would help improve my fuel economy but apparently you have to _slow_down_ a bit for that , not much chance of that is there ? =8-) .
At least the rain tapered off to a slight drizzle .
