I just had the regular turbo kit w/o impellers.
617 engine '85 300D CA. 187,000 miles (bought at 93,000)
The impellers seemed fine, no nicks or damage.
I used plenty of "Bead Blaster" and cut the head off a bolt with a grinder. I didn't get the special tool kit, though there are snap rings deep inside the turbo body that need replacing, and it was a PITA with just 2 ice pick tools. My snap ring pliers weren't long enough. If I was going to do another I'd make some tool for that.
