I can give you my input on one of them. I bought a 1991 300D 18 months ago with 272K miles. Everything (all windows, locks, guages, lights, sunroof, A/C etc.) works. I've only had to do normal maintenace (filters, fluids, etc.) and now have 186K+ miles on it. It starts first time-every time even down to 10*F and gets up to 33+MPG on my longer drives, 28-30MPG as a daily driver around town. I paid $3200 for it and I feel it was a good deal. I'd pay about the same for another one in similar condition.
