[diesel_mercedes] Current thoughts for ATF for w126 / w123??

 

I'm planning a pan gasket/filter and tranny cooler oil line replacement this spring for my '84 300SD.

What are the current fluid recommendations for this.. Both fluid type and volume.. I am planning on draining the torque converter as well.. (IIRC, my 240D had a drain plug in the tc. Does the 300SD?)
