You'll wear out tires quicker than normal. Been there, done that.

My 83 300SD has 16 inch wheels with 225R60/16 tires. The spare is a 14 inch wheel with a 195R70/14 tire. The bigger tires seem to clear the wheel wells OK, and bolt up to the hubs. Is there a problem with this?
