My 84 SD's tail is draggin' REALLY..
I'd considered shoving spring helpers into it for the winter-- and may have to do so, as a cost thing.
The newly created 2" receiver hitch drags as I get into and out of my drive. (lots of stuff hits-- no surprise).
--but it's really too low to hook anything to, or put in the receiver.
I have a "bike carrier" that goes in my receiver.. Looks like I'm going to drag my bikes, if I leave them there.
So-- the rear springs and shocks will be replaced..
I understand dropping the differential makes it easier.
SO
I'm going to replace the diff carrier, flex discs, rear brake hoses....
What else needs to go, while I have this apart??
Anyone have a lead on new rear springs???
