Re: [diesel_mercedes] Now this is a REAL turkey!

This is a Chocolate Brown which is a rare, endandgered nearly extinct breed.  I had a trio, but one went rogue. So now I have Tom, the tom and Henrietta the hen.  They are for breeding.  He's only 3 months old and just started gobbling.  They only breed a few months out of the year in the Spring, so he's not going to be on the table any time soon.  The offspring however will be up for sale and for eating.  They sell for $25-50 around here!  I paid $8 for them just days after they hatched.  I can't wait to add to my flock, they are so much fun.

And just to stay on subject, back in May I did bring it home in my MB diesel!
