Interstate has _never_ been a ' top quality ' battery .
Neither are BOSCH or VARTA ~ German trash , both .
A couple years ago , the 240D's battery died while parked (normal) after 7 years so I went a battery hunting in Indio , Ca. on a Sunday morning , the only place I found to have the correct one was Wally - Mart , it was also the cheapest , I bought and installed it and no further drama battery - wise so far .
