[diesel_mercedes] Re: goes on craigslist tonight/ jags

Way back when (~1980), I had a 1973 XJ6 Jag and a 72 350SL at the same time. Different in many ways, especially the ride (Jag was much smoother) and the maintenance (Jag required way more). XJ6 averaged about an hour of care (tune-up, repairs, cleaning, adjustments, etc.) for each hour driven. XJ6 was basically hand made, so fortunately, you could take almost anything apart with hand tools. Unfortunately, I had to take almost everything apart over time. The 350SL basically needed oil/filter changes and tire rotations during the same time period.
