DEFINITELY stay away from Autolites.

autohausaz.com has the Bosch's for less:

Shipping is free if you can get the order over $50, so have them add a fuel or oil filter.

"Best" are the Monarks.  (Word has it that the Bosch's are now made in India or some such place, and the quality has taken a dive.)  Bergsma's outfit sells them for $12.50 a pop, or the kit of five plugs with reamer for about $90.  You can probably find them for less on amazon.com.

I've never used the reamer, so, can't really comment on it.  Seems to me that if you can get the old plugs out, you've then done all the reaming needed; no need to be reamed any further....

I've removed and re-installed countless MB cam/valve cover gaskets over the last 30-years.  Can't think of any "trick" to it.  Just need to make sure the bottom edge of the cover is well seated in the gasket, and use even torques on the bolts.

More glow plug questions: All of mine test out as bad. I hear autolight is horrible, is the bosch the way to go? They are only 9.50 each at rockauto. Are there a better brand? I see the ones at diesel giant are $120 for the set.

What about the reamer thing. Should I do get one and do while the glow plugs are out?

And a side question? I slightly remember a discussion about valve cover gaskets. I replaced mine when I adjusted the valves and now it leaks constantly. I see diesel giant sells a video. Is it that difficult to chang it right? He says there is a trick? Only use a mercedes brand gasket? My driveway would love it to stop.
