Now I an astounded. Let me explain. I have a brother that live 50 miles north of me, in the hill, a bit over a one hundred mile round trip. We have had this car a bit over 3 years, but I only rarely drive it, as it is mostly driven by my wife. Recently I drove it up there. When I left it had 3/4 of a tank of fuel. I used only 1/8 of a tank on that trip. Then I went back up there, back to Idabel, then back up to his place , and returned home, 6 mile out of Haworth, Okla. A trip a bit over 200 miles. When I left it had a hair under 1/2 a tank, when I got back home, the neede was a hair above 1/4 tank.
With a 21.1 gallon tank that would be near 36 mpg . if the mpg was 28 mpg, it would be approximately a 28 gallon tank, is that possible ?
I made this trip running at 2600 to 2700 rpm, at 55 to 57 mph ; using B 100 fuel, home brew. i suspect the IP is just a touch late, valves recently adjusted, as thosetwo items would definately increase or decrease fuel milage. Any opinions. Bill C
