Re: [diesel_mercedes] Glow plug question

Check the fuse in the relay first to make sure it has not blown. If the glow plugs are older than 2 years, you may need to replace them.

Subject: [diesel_mercedes] Glow plug question

How does the glow plug system work in a 1984 300D. The car will not start and the yellow light is not coming on on the dash. It was fine yesterday. Today no go. Want to get her fixed quickly. Valves have been adjusted within last 1000 miles so I know it is not that. Fuel filter also changed 100 miles ago. Car is smoking so I know she is getting Fuel.

Thanks, Nick
