My 84 300SD is at least temporarily back on the road, after serious paint and body work... (She looks great-- I will get pics of her here soon).
Anyway-- she pulls a little right since her accident.. I also have an intermittent "hammering" vibration in the front end.. Imagine a really badly warped rotor, but not being on the brakes. Yeah, I'm going to grab a jack, and see what I can find.. I found it comes on, usually at speed ~60-65, and that pressing on the brakes, even momentarily will diminish it. (I do apparently have a warped rotor in front though.)
Point is-- it's going to need alignment.
I'm looking at AutohausAZ.com, and it looks like it's as cheap if not cheaper to replace the entire tie rod and control arm assemblies as it is to replace their "ends" (ball joints/bushings).
Anyone done this-- and their thoughts??
