I have had good luck with a 20x16 universal condenser in my W123 84 300D that I got for $50 from rycompressors at yahoo dot com. They have an a/c tech who's enough of an old timer to know about our cars, how to troubleshoot, etc. and you can get him on the phone, though he's really busy. They're in Florida so I think they know a/c. I wouldn't go back to the original condenser after having this one working for a while, it's good.
