Just let the car cruise to a stop. The mechanic said that it would take hours to get the bolt out by drilling out. Does this change anything do u think?

It could put stress on the other mounts as well as the rest of the drivetrain if the engine isn’t in proper alignment. Either make them fix it right or take it to another shop to fix it. I’m about to change the motor mounts on my newly purchased 1977 240D, my second time doing the job. If you were close to me, I would help.
