YAHOO!!!!! Kevin got it running and shifting correctly.
We're going over tomorrow morning to do the valve adjustment - Chip your tools and book will be heading your way soon!
I think I'll call Dan the Muffler Man and see what time he closes tomorrow. I don't plan to go driving around the state until everything is finished. I just want to get it 50 miles for now.
The 2 parts I need (for now) will be here on Tues. :( I hate that. MORE waiting. I sent the order in early enough I should have gotten it today. Sigh. I'm closer anyhow.
I'm trying really hard to be patient, but I'm about to burst! Me thinks this will be a good day to go hiking with the dogs. (Brian maybe I'll find that T-Rex skull again...anyone else will have to go to FB to figure that one out!)
If it's flairing between shifts, let off the loud pedal when it's about to shift. You can drive it this way, but it's not recommended for long term. I hope that Kevin can get the CPR straightened out to get the right shift at the right time with the right firmness at any throttle condition as Mercedes-Benz intended. I'm sure I'll be tinkering with the shift adjustment on the 240D.Kevin in Hillsboro, Oregon
