It comes around every now and then, most often hitting me when I go through that long lull of reliability that is the nature of our cars.
The contagion of MGites has nearly ruined me two other times in my life, each with irreversible damage and each leaving me more and more likely to contract it again in the future. It seems the only cure is to 1) Give in and buy either a late A or an early B or even an early Midget or 2) be sucked back to reality with the highly unlike problem that crops up with my 300cd turbo coupe.
It's not unlike a man without a woman or to be PC about it, a woman without a man (although I have never been convinced that women need anybody). MGites is like that itch that can't be scratched unless you get a broken leg that takes your mind away from the scratching.

[diesel_mercedes] Continuing MB diesel boredom is making me susceptible to MGites.
