[diesel_mercedes] Re : Today's ultra low sulfer diesel

In regular weather add some Marvel Mystery Oilto each fillup , about 4 Oz. (called " MMO " in The Trades) , it's fairly cheap if you look for it .

In winter , any local Truck Stop on The Interstate will have an anti - gelling Diesel fuel additive , just follow the instructions .

For improved power & fuel economy , add some " Cetane Boost " from Power Service , it comes in white plastic quart bottles , also at any Truck Stop and often Pep Boys too .

Always keep the clear plastic intake screen wiped off so you can see when the clear fuel begins turning dark or black , this is *fungus* , a very bad thing , no worries if you treat it right away with Startron by Starbrite , a liquid on blue plastic bottles . Boat Shops carry it or Amazon , good stuff , by some nw ans set aside as sooner or later you'll be needing it .

Doseperinstructions until the fuel stays clear for two fillups then change both fuel filters and motor on happliy , remembering the crappy filling station that sold youthe bad fuel .
