I know and admire the Suzuki WRX series of Automobiles , my son has one and yes , it's very nice and faster than a speeding bullet , reliable & safe blah blah blah....
I turned one down for free that still ran well if dented every 4" or so because I'd rather drive my 30 year old Diesel Sports Coupe , yes even after the kiddies whiz past me like I'm parked up in the twisty bits where I tend to pass most other vehicles .
Kiddies tend to have a different set of values .
As we here are mostly Gear Heads of varying intensity , I can see how a kid wouldn't know the brake release from the hood release ,many Japanese cars have a park brake release similar to the Mercedes (and other cars) hood release...
Just wait until he's 45 , he'll begin to realize he missed out when he passed on a FREE Mercedes 240D in good shape .
They're not Young People's cars .
