Used parts are available , but you would probably be wise to invest in the Mercedes Benz Model 126 Service Manual Library CD if you buy the car. The part number on mine is P-2700-126-099. The dealers may be able to order them, if not try the MB classic Center. I don't remember if you mentioned the mileage but obviously, the lower the better. In any event if you decide to do it I'd offer him 1/2 what he's asking because from the sound of things you will be facing some major time in sorting out the electrics.all silver and the long black box gone.
