Not really more expensive.It the SDL#14 head that can be trouble if you overheat it.Ask if head was replaced with newer head.

Hello All

I am planing on buying two 1980's 300 turbo diesels. (One is for my wife.)

The plan is to use them as daily drivers, on waste oil, with a newer car as a backup vehicle.

There is a local 300SDL. Are parts much harder to find and more expensive than they are for the five cylinder cars?
