Greg, check the retaining bolt on the end of the torsion bar. The bushings cover this bolt and hold moisture causing this hidden area to rust. Teh symptoms you mention are similar to those I experienced, especially the braking. I welded a stud onto the end of the torsion bar but I'll probably replace it.

My M/B broke down again, I just had the front suspension redonei have been driving it since Thursday and this morning I was driving and i nor\tice my brake pedal acting strange so when I went to make a turn I noticed a loud thump/clack metal sound and the car began pulling to one side, from where the sound came from. No brake grinding noises or anything else but the car sits maybe an inch or two lower then the other front side? Any ideas, I just want to cry... to make things worse I purchased my daughter a little nissan pick up I learned it has a blowen head gasket hopefully that is all.
