Had the same problem with my 73 Dodge PU. Everything tested ok but on
the truck there was no charging. All circuits checked out for
"continuity" buttttttttttttttttttttttttttt what I didn't know was the
wire to energize the field coil was hanging by one strand of wire. It
would have continuity but could not pass enough amps to energize the
field coil. Possible????
