[diesel_mercedes] 84 300T mileage

 

We just purchased a 1984 300D with turbo. We are running straight WVO with a lovecraft conversion. We are only getting about 20 MPG with 90% of the miles on the freeway. This seems low to me. Any suggestions as to what to look for to increase mileage.

Also, on the doors sills, there are restricting hinges that keep the door from opening too far. Are they the same on front and rear? We need to order a front and rear and do not want to get the wrong part.
