[Diesel-RVs] Leaving RV behind

We are unable to go for months at a time and want to go from the West
Coast to the East Coast in 3-4 weeks.

Here's our thought, and I don't suspect it's novel in any way, has
anyone left their RV in storage far, far, away? I thought we would
travel to FL over about three weeks, then leave the RV plugged in
there, in storage somewhere, for about two months then return and
continue our trip up North, doing the same thing, then back West.

1. Does this make sense for those who can't go full time?

2. Is it difficult to find an indoor facilty to leave the RV for a few
months? If so, is it smart to leave it at an RV park?

3. Any down side? I can't think of any.

Many thanks.
