Just so we are clear, have you or this gent Mike used Rid X in your RV?
History is full of products designed for one thing and they've turned out to be
useful for other applications.

Here is a copy and paste from a forum that was addressing this very
issue, and Mike is the writer here who seems to be saying pretty much
what I was saying (Rid-X is for home septic use and is a slow acting
agent)....
