Nate, no leaks from the by pass but I did not have any ac coming from the two center vents. I seem to remember air flowing from these before. Any idea. Thanks. Tom.

Thanks for the info. I think I will fix it later in the year. Yep, we are south of Tucson but several thousand feet higher. Our house is at about 4800 feet so we do get cold weather here and some snow. Maybe I should search for someone to come for a visit and fix the thing. Lots to see down here. We are about 20 miles from Tombstone and just a little farther from Mexico. Thanks again. Tom.

Thanks for the links. I did a similar search and did not get any useful info. Looks like it will be quite a job to get the core out. Think I will wait until fall when temps here in Southern Arizona drop below 90. Tom.

Been there. Had a small Ford once that was a reincarnation of an England Wildcat, or some such.

Appeared that to meet U.S. crash tests they welded in a piece under the dash that made it impossible to get the heater core out.
