[diesel_mercedes] Fuel Economy Check '82 240D Slushbox

 

AC used, Biobor added, 385 miles, 24MPG so not changing much up nor down .

I think (hope !) I just bought an A-B IP timing tool (electric light) so I hope to check and adjust the I.P. and little more accurately when it arrives .

I borrowed one and used ot ti set my Coupe's IP timing to 26 degrees, wow what an improvement .

Please all, continue being safe, I too am suffering cabin fever but when I go out I stay the hell away from everyone else .

Yep. Mine looks (looked) most like this one:


It now has blue doors, a red and silver right front fender, and the gold-painted parts have been reduced to rust "patina". The example here is the aforementioned despised "Silverado" with power windows and door locks, carpet on the doors, silver belt line trim, chrome rear bumper, etc.  Ugh.
