Sounds good , almost too good to be true , sort of like asket (SP) .

I'm not so keen on new or reground cams but the rest sounds very good indeed , new chains & pistons , all new valves and so on , rebuilt IP & injectors......

We're trying to set $ aside to rebuild the 240D's engine and tranny this year .

[diesel_mercedes] Coolant Mix

 

I never use 60 % coolant , that's the distilled water part .

This time , per the bottles M-B mandated instructions , I will be mixing it 50/50 with distilled water as The San Gabiel Valley has water so hard you can drive _NAILS_ with it .

(makes darn good beer tho') .

I was referring to the antifreeze. I live on the edge of the arctic(-20 here).
There is no reason to mix 60% antifreeze, not for winter or for summer either.
50/50 has worked for me my whole life. Just saying, but nothing matters anyway.
