More like the 'too stupid to quit' fight Bill ;

This morning one of my teenaged Foster boys had a blowout so SWMBO sent him off to run errands with me, we're still having a heat wave in So. Cal. ~ it was 105* F before noon in Pasadena so I began moving the huge potted Cactus' I was gifted recently, each on weighs 100 + # in it's Terra Cotta pot, I borrowed a large commercial hand truck but had no one to help me, I got six of them moved out of my drive way onto my side porch and the two long ones that broke off in transit have scabbed over so I dug two 2' deep holes and inverted them, refilled, tamped the dirt down and watered every thing, boy howdy is it hot ! .

99* F at the Colusim @ 2PM...

At least my little Motocycle isn't buried in spiny cactus anymore, I'll drag it out and wash it, maybe get some riding done soon .

Glad you're still fighting the good fight, as we are. Got up to 95 several times over the last two weeks, but we got thru it. Will be 85 for the next 10-days. Onward!  ...Bill in Corvallis, Oregon
