[diesel_mercedes] Alternator Service

 



Actually once you've done it a couple times it's really very simply and fast if always fiddly and dirty .

My brother struggled for hours on his '81 W126, I came by and had the job done in minuted, using only hand tools .

[diesel_mercedes] Failing Exhaust Hangers

 



The exhaust hangers was a simple fix and Mercedes did it with the R series chain loop hanger .

The aluminum air cleaner cans on the 240D's as a bad idea too .

I get reducing weight but I broke quite a few before hopefully settling down into smooth sailing .
