[diesel_mercedes] Mary is ready to travel

 

October 24 I will fly back to Ontario, CA. to pick up Mary. A refurbished head and block, and radiator. Mike the mechanic took her up to Mt. Baldy to make sure everything was functional and working - and he pronounced her "ready."  I will have put $7,500 into Mary since March - that is what I paid for her in 1991 when I bought her with 40,000 miles on her. All I can say is that we have led an adventurous life together, and I look forward to getting her safely home.
