Diesel RVs

I got so excited yesterday that I printed the 1980-1993 MB manual (.pdf file) and put all 350+ pages in a 3 ring binder that now sits on my shelf. I may never look at it again (I think I will), but it turned out well. With the Ecklers .pdf file on hand plus all the other materials, I am beginning to think I could build a w123 300d from scratch, if I weren't so old and crickety.

I cant find any mention of adding gas in the 123 manual but on page 84 it has a chart for winterizing diesel by adding kerosene, which is what the fuel companies used to do up here in the frozen north, with a 50/50 mix. I was told several years ago there is some new process they use now, but dont know for sure. max
