WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!!!! Yep, she runs great and Dan the Muffler Man only charged me $45 to do the exhaust system. He got some scrap from me, so we both did good.

I think I've already put about 100 miles on her! I stopped for the donuts for the exhaust, got it hooked up, then went back into town to get some cash and back out to pay him..the thing about these small town mechanics is most of them don't take credit/debit cards. I forgot or I would have had enough cash. Oh well. Got to put a few extra miles on her. Takes some getting used to after driving Kevin's F250..or nothing.

What I loved was being able to get under her while she was on the lift. I was able to see all sorts of things I couldn't see before. There's some rust on the floor board...looks like it's only on the passenger side in the back and it hasn't gone through. Just a slight amount of rust at the bottom of the wheel wells. All in all it's not in bad shape. There are a couple of other parts that need to be replaced..but I think Kevin's had enough MB for now. I have a house project I need his help with...replace a floor, wall and window...all of which he's well aware of. When we do that we'll also be installing the "window" a/c unit in the wall. It'll all be done in a day, and now we have time!
