Re: [diesel_mercedes] 300SDL in Iowa for sale

It has a few. Sunroof needs some work. Since I took those pictures there are a couple small patches on the hood that are now missing the clearcoat. Fuel guage dances back and forth when fuel level gets low. A/C needs recharged.

That's about it. Everything else works, including the clock and the digital outside temp gauge.

Thanks
Kevin

Re: [diesel_mercedes] Throttle Linkage ? OM617 Turbo

Max,

A drop of oil on the 'bell crank' bushings (the other moving parts) helps too.

Just did mine, and it made a world of difference.

O.K. ;

I still have some issue I don't fully understand with my throttle linkages .

I had the FSM's measurement page and used that to no good effect .

I was looking at the three Diesel Mercedes' in the Oceanside P-A-P and noticed they all had easier to push throttle than my '84 Coupe does after careful cleaning and lubrication of all the pivot balls and the bell cranks too .

What I'm looking for now is : a link to some DIY pages that cover actual hands on linkage rod adjusting , hopefully with pictures.....

TIA ,
