My 240 4spd(the one that broke that part) seems harder to push than my auto. Let us know when you learn something. I do grease the balls once in a while. max

I still have some issue I don't fully understand with my throttle linkages .
I had the FSM's measurement page and used that to no good effect .
I was looking at the three Diesel Mercedes' in the Oceanside P-A-P and noticed they all had easier to push throttle than my '84 Coupe does after careful cleaning and lubrication of all the pivot balls and the bell cranks too .
What I'm looking for now is : a link to some DIY pages that cover actual hands on linkage rod adjusting , hopefully with pictures.....
