There are two brake warning lights in the W-123 , one is for the brake fluid level and has two wires where it connects to the master cylinder , the other is a single wire where it connects to each front wheel ~
Fiddling the wires near the fuse box isn't a reliable test .
Looping the wires at the master cylinder will test that cicrcuit , grounding the single wire going to each front brake caliper under the car , will test the other circuit .
These tests are for the yellow brake warning lamp .
