He did have a huge wad of chew in his mouth! He showed up in shorts with orange detailed cowboy boots on! Nice kid though. He says straight up he's a red neck. Remember we are in TX. He wasn't lying in that statement!

Someone tried to coach him.

After a week of negotiating he was supposed to txt me on Sat to confirm a Sun meet. The Sun time came and went. I txt'd him, he didn't know who I was. I waited for his call. An hour later I called him, he told me he had someone else interested and they offered him more than he was asking and how much higher would I go. I laughed, tore into him, told him I wasn't even going to pay him what he was asking! Then told him good luck with that...hmmm I'm 50, I've bought and sold many, many cars, you're 16 and don't even have your first license, lets see who's gonna win.

What on earth??? The kid I bought my car from said he got 42mpg. I got 37mpg the first time I put gas in it. This time around I got 18mpg!!!!! WHAT??? I've done the math several times, checked my reading a couple of times. I know that valve thing is leaking, but THAT MUCH? No way! I did notice that my transmission wasn't shifting properly yesterday, but would that make my gas mileage go down that much? Oh man this isn't good.

Any input is always appreciated.
