As long as I'm sitting here in the cold & wet , I might as well ponder the wisdon of having purchased a $700 " cheap " truck that's needed over $3,000 worth of parts put into it , rather than paying the exorbitant price of $400 for a 100 % complete Mercedes trailer hitch with proper supports , electrical connections and even every single nut , bolt and washer carefully removed , and putting that on my 300CD and then enjoying a faster , quieter , smoother , _safer_ drive , with a radio that works and trunk space for tools & goodies.....
NAH ! it was much more fun rebuilding an old truck I don't want to keep.
Or , not =8-^ .
