There should be a long box up top, that says "Search Conversations" to the right of the Yahoo Groups logo, and to the left of the "search Groups / Search Web buttons. It looks like you need to push one of the buttons, yet you don't, just return.

Very wet weekend, around the SF area.  I live in the east bay, got over an inch.

Yeah ~

I hear that storm is pounding the S.F. Bay area too ~ my buddy who moved up to Wa. State was driving down to visit So. Cal. and didn't bother to check the weather report and got waterlogged in Oregon, gave up the Coastal Route and came in vie the I-5 .

It's all nice and sunny now, is supposed to reach 100° Thursday ~ just in time for me to make another Junk Yard run .

I grew up in Garden Grove. One of my birthday parties (Sept. 2) was rained out, big thunder storm and my party to POP was canceled, dont remember how old I was but I remember crying. about it. Is anybody still there that remembers what P.O.P. was? max

When I have an active fungus infestation, a pint or more each fillup, normally 4 ounces each time .

You cannot over dose with startron .

Please to remember :

This is with a serious fuel leak and one cylinder with *very* low compression .

When everything is # 1 it gets 26 ~ 28 MPG in town and up to 36 MPG loaded on the open road....

NO AC, Startron used, 460 miles, weepy fuel filler cap splashed diesel fuel all over the right rear of the car again, some even blew back around the right rear taillight via those nifty grooves in the lenses that are designed to keep dust from collecting.....

23.6 MPG .

Before refilling it I spent some time Saturday washing the entire car and replaced the fuel filler cap gasket with the blue one , part # prefix 140 from The Classic Center, so far not a drip .

Of course, because I washed the car it's now raining..... .

[diesel_mercedes] Speedometer Cable Service

 



There's always a gear inside the tranny ~ the question was : can the center cable be removed without removing the bowden ? .

The easy way to find out is to disconnect the speedo cable at the speedo end and gently pull the center ~ it'll either slide out or not .

If it begins to slide out, STOP and go get the biggest garbage bag you can find ans tape it to the lower seat cushion so it'll prevent the incredibly nasty grimy cable lube from getting all over the seat and ruining the carpet .
