On Friday 11.4.16, I was up and out working by 7AM ~ I decided to replace the worn out rear brake pads on SWMBO's '82 240D with Ceramics .

I also decided to clean up the new (used, date coded 1982 lucky me) light alloy wheels I recently bought .

They looked pretty bad with close to 1/8" of accumulated brake dust and road grime but cleaned up very well with my new cleaner stuff and some brushes, rags and elbow grease .

I was so pleased with them I decided to try cleaning the wheel well where a leaky oil cooler line had made a mess .

This went so well I crawled underneath the car and began cleaning the tranny and chassis as I'm shortly to do a valve job and tranny rebuild .

The hub caps got so clean I broke out the MetAll pink stainless steel polish and was able to remove 99 + 44/100's % of that black stain they all seem to get .

That's hot I spent my 61st. birthday ! I had a great time although I was really grotty by the time I'd finished .

The neat thing about this new de greaser is : it doesn't de fat my skin like the old stuff I used and it contains no carcinogens ! .
