Try pelican parts (peach parts), parts geek, or autohausAZ. They all carry parts for the older Benzes very reasonable too.  I think that part is about $30 or so, been a few years since I purchased mine, car won't go very far without it.  I think I used a zip tie on mine till the part shipped.  Don't loose the clip that goes in it...good luck

Help. My parts car throttle part  broke already. Anyone have one or does anyone go to those self junkyards that could get me one? I,ve noticed my 240 auto system is different than the 4spd, but the one I took out of a 300TD was just like my 4spd. Strange. Anyway I seem to be fresh out of this part. Its the part that has stop written on it. The rubber stuff just deteriorated. Max

Yes, there's a great MB tranny guy in OC, who's been the guy theMB shops send off their trannys to, and in the past has done somenon-rebuild repairs/adjusts which got me another 50K. He's movingfrom his commercial space to his garage, semi-retire or something.http://www.transmeister.com/

I thought my Tranny was gone 50k ago, and got the vacuumadjusted, and later was having problems, and had the valve springsreplaced (shift kit) and that made it pretty nice until recently,well a year or so. Now mine's sometimes flaring at 2-3, as well asflipping back and forth from 2 to 3 at times, like heading up thehill on Saturday. That got me worried.
