I took off the Air Cleaner. Two cables got to the starter. One from the battery and another from under the dash. One wire bundle goes past the battery from the alternator to the dash and another comes out and goes to the battery. There must be a junction box under the dash in my W123. It's a 1980TD and doesn't have the junction box on the inside fender. At this point since the starter works I can only think the problem is at the connection to the alternator or under the dash. The alternator tested good at O'Riellys It did work for a little bit but almost stranded me last night. Does anyone know where those wires go to under the dash?Lawrence Rhodes.
