I put the console left and right side aftermarket switches in my 84 300D and they are great. rmeuropean.com sells them for $30 apiece. Your car might have different switches. My part numbers are 000-820-81-10 and 000-820-82-10 and the brand is Uro Parts. I kept my old ones in case I ever want to take them apart and rebuild them. But I doubt if I will ever have to do that. They are super easy to swap out. I think it took me one full minute to do the job.

I calmed down, pulled the switch, found an image on the web. fished out part of the copper switch from the shifter(parts sploded everywhere) & put it all back together after replacing the fuse. I got the window up with a little wiggling after I put the rocker back in. Are the after market dual right side replacement switches good or should I use official Mercedes OEM parts?
