I don't rememberhow much it took ~ what I do is buy a case as sooner or later I know I'll use Dexron .

Fill until it's at the high mark on the dipstick then start it up and add slowly until the ATF level *just* touches the tip of the dipstick , adding s l o w l y as a 1/2 pint is a LOT in a slushbox and over filling will cause leaks .

Once it's up to the tip of the dipstick , go drive it for 30 minutes or more then re check on a perfectly level bit of gound as ATF expands 10 % or so as it heats up .
