Nope, not an accident. I have zero tolerance for name-calling, and insulting the moderator is generally a great way to be shown the door. Basic manners required here.
In case any one else encounters this problem, once a user is banned, they are also unsubscribed. So if they are getting messages after being banned, they are either subscribed using an additional account or Yahoo is having problems. Either way, they need to take it up with Yahoo support, nothing I can do about. Sadly, Yahoo support can't cure stupidity.
