Nate, I agree...I'm overwhelmed with responsibility at the moment, but I can dream, can't I?

Brad ;

This question shows you're not approaching it in the correct frame of mind : if it was the right thing for you to do , you'd have posted ' SWEET ! I'm buying this Ponton and nursing it home ' ~ there's a world of different and you have to enjoy heat & grease in liberal qualtities , applied by the side of the road .

Since Robert BOSCH moved it's maufacturing to India , there has been a marked lack of quality , I no longer accept thier products , not even the spark plugs .

Valves have been adjusted within last 1000 miles so I know it is not that. Fuel filter also changed 100 miles ago. Car is smoking so I know she is getting Fuel.

I've been using Monark brand glow plugs for some time now with good results .

If you reaplaced the rubber rockerbox gasket once recently , it's prolly just shifted during assembly or maybe you didn't clean out all the crud & munge around the perimiter of the cyinder head where it must needs be *clean* to seal .

I use whatever brand rubber gasket my European Parthaus has on hand , I forget the brand name but not necessary to buy Dealer gasket , Tom @ The Classic Center will fix you up with the top quality Dealer gasket cheapset & shipped to your door .
